Time brings back our old rooted traditions

These days I can see that so many people are getting back to meditation and chanting which once had alot of importance but then they were fading away with time as other technological methods were coming up that were replacing them. I am glad that now people are again realising the benefits of meditation and yoga especially in our country India once again.

Yoga has been acknowledged as exercising option ages ago. Not today and has thrived in west. Out here, linking it with religion has brought about its downfall. While it is true that Hindu sages discovered those exercises, they did not form part of the religion. Religion does not say get up in the morning do Surya namaskar and then only chant your prayers. Survya namaskar is advised because of the health benefits possible with it at that time. It is not mandatory. Meditation has been there in other cultures as well. Chinese and Japanese ...not sure it is Hindu culture at all, more likely Buddhist or Jain.

That's good to know! Our old way of medication is still working like herbs and it's less expensive
