We have another birthday to celebrate today and her perfect birthday cake is a plate of brownies. I baked a small batch of them in muffin tins so that each would have a crunchy outside layer. Add some vanilla ice cream and dessert is complete. To round out the meal, we are having burgers... again her choice. It's funny, I don't think that anyone in the family ever wanted a plain birthday cake... I always wanted strawberry shortcake, darling daughter wants brownies and hubby always asked for Sugar Pie.
