.
I am in awe of this rainbow tree that I saw for the first time online .. I have never heard anyone over there in the homeland talking about these beautiful trees that supposedly originated in the Philippines ..
I'm shocked that we were never taught nor encouraged to take interest in Nature and be passionate about our forests and all the things in them.. I feel so sad that I grew up so ignorant of the land, the trees and vegetations ..
I read that the rainbow tree is fast growing tree that can grow 2-3 meters a year.. And in the forest they grow up to more than 200 feet tall .. Wow!! I can only imagine .. What magnificent trees!!
I also found that we can buy them here in Australia and we can grow them as bonsai .. I hope I can also get them in the Philippines and grow them in pots ..
Have you ever heard of this rainbow tree? Have you seen one in person?

that is beautiful. great idea to grow one or more. we had a regular eucalyptus tree in California once in our yard and it was nice but we were told not to let our children play with any dropping seeds or leaves or play around it as it was toxic. not sure if it was true been 40 yrs back, so never searched it. just took the warning in case it was.

@epiffanie I think it would be Bukidnon
I have seen rubber trees near my dad's farm lot but never saw those yet. I will try to get more info from friends to really get the exact place in Bukidnon.

I read that they grow in Hawaii and a few places in the US .. But it's not practical to grow them in populated area if they grow to up to 200 feet or more .. that's probably why most of us never heard of it before as they grow mostly in forests ..

Just check wiki, and this tree is a family of eucalyptus, isn't that fascinating? It is simply gorgeous, I am very impressed. Thanks for this post. (I thought someone photoshopped the pic at first.)
