A Richmond man saves a woman who was trapped inside an auto

The thunderstorms that have hit the Richmond Virginia area have caused intense flooding that has caused a lot of headaches for drivers who get stranded due to the roads that are impassable due to the high water. Otis Lambert who lives on Kendall Road answered the call to assist a female driver who decided to drive on the road despite warnings from the authorities who advise drivers "Turn around. Don't drown." when a road is filled with floodwater. Otis looked out of the window of his home when he heard a driver honking the horn to get his attention. Otis then risked his life to rescue a female driver who was driving a Lexus and she was stuck leaning on a ditch. Otis was told by city officials that they will be getting larger pipes to lessen the flooding in his neighborhood. Otis is concerned that another flood could enter his home before the improvements of the drainage system can be made.
