My Sunday has been full of all sorts of wonderful things. Curious crocodiles cuddling each other. Pretty parrots preening. Drowsy donkeys. Kids {of the baby goat variety} munching the handful of grass picked for them especially by toddlers. We stuffed our bellies full of a carvery meal and lost Daddy under the table, where he lay face down for quite a while. I drank a Cosmopolitan and devoured giant fish cakes as a tasty starter. We came home for afternoon tea, enjoying the blustery sunshine. Shush now, the garden fairies are asleep. We blew bubbles which became rockets and flew off into space. The Lost City was explored, and the Jungle. Even the Junglelar, which is a HUGE jungle. It has bears, but no Gruffalo. Daisies were picked, ice-cream was licked and stones were kicked. An impromptu stage act entertained us with clumsily graceful dance moves and a dash of made-up songs. Even a splodge of magic, which made the world freeze. Grown men fell asleep, cats became brave and an auntie and her littlest niece enjoyed insane conversations whilst sitting on the stairs. It was fun. I love the little girl she is becoming. Such a joy to be around. I will sleep happy tonight.
