I bought a variety of herbs

Among the other things I did yesterday, I was able to go to one of my favorite plant nurseries and get a variety of herbs. It is cloudy and overcast, so it will be a good day to get things into the ground.
At school we had the kids plant some things, some seeds, but they did not really want them, or their families did not, so I brought home cucumbers and tomatoes for myself. If they survive.
The tiny cucumber plants have been blooming. I just put them out in a container just now. I hope that they do well.
It is too wet to mow this morning, so I will be doing housework as well as planting things. There is always something to do.

I put the little baby cucumber plants into a large container. I hope they make it. I gave them some shade.

I'm glad we get breaks in housework. Though we do need to do laundry and dishes today from not doing them in two days

In the hot weather I find the dishes get kind of gross really fast. The rest of the housework often waits. I have a load of hubby's clothing on the line today.

@GardenGerty our dishes get done at least every other day, but if we need something that's dirty, and have enough to fill the washer, then they'll get done days in a row.

That’s nice. I plant flowers but I’ve never planted food. We don’t have a lot of sun in our yard because of the trees. I just plant flowers that can grow in the shade. Enjoy your herbs.
