Short Story: Anika's vexing question, was answered for her, when she most needed its answers. Our questions are always answered in this same way.

Anika had a question that for all of her life had puzzled her.
This was this one:
“How can one take advantage of one’s losses”
The answer came to her in a dream one night, as she laying dozing in her easy chair, in front of the television, very late, one night.
It was to caste everything out from our minds, and to place them in our hearts.
When you do this, you acquire the grace through love to bear any pain, or loss, in your life.
One must always carry on, because the seeds of tomorrow exist in the fruits of today, and yet, even so, the seeds and the fruit that they (today and tomorrow) bear, continually come and go.
It is only the essential “I” that carries on, and when we live from the heart of grace, the lessons of the seeds and their fruit fall off of the tree’s (of life's) branches to our feet, and not onto our heads, anymore.
Anika got up from her chair, grabbed her walking frame, and stepped away from her self.
She realised then, that she was actually in the hospital, and that she indeed had the strength to go through with her surgery. She knew that she would live for another day, after all.
Love lives alive in us, when we live alive in it.
We should not try to bear up, on our own, but realise the fruits and the seeds gathered in life are mere part and parcel of life’s game of which we are a part, and the game itself belongs to God.
