KLOVE Fan Awards

I had an interesting night last night. I had full intentions of watching the KLOVE Fan Awards, not something difficult even without cable because I can stream it on the Internet. However, my computer decided to have issues when I went to turn it on, and ended up using two laptops to do the job of one computer last night.
Still I did watch the KLOVE Fan Awards live from Nashville, Tennessee, last night on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network), the only place they could be seen.
So, if you missed the awards, which were totally awesome, here are the winners and the songs that won, as well as Best Film of the Year and a couple other winners that weren't broadcast.
Best Film of the Year - and I totally agree on this one. I wrote a review on it after seeing it - I Can Only Imagine. It's the story of the group's lead artist of Mercy Me and the struggles he had in his life, and how that song came to be written. Awesome movie, and if you ever get a chance to see it, I fully recommend it.
There were a number of Christian movies that were up for Christian Film of the Year. With that many, the Oscars should consider adding a new category to the Oscars - Faith movies.
Okay, moving on.
Male Artist of the Year - TobyMac.
Female Artist of the Year - Lauren Daigle
Group or Duo of the Year - Mercy Me for the song Even If
Artist of the Year - Mercy Me - for the song Even If
Breakout Single - Cory Asbury for Reckless Love
Worship Song of the Year - Cory Asbury - Reckless Love
Song of the Year - Mercy Me - Even If
Sports Impact - Philadelphia Eagles - if you know the story behind their awesome Super Bowl win, you know why they got this award - they gave all the credit for their win to God.
Book Impact - Dimas Salaberrios for Street God. I haven't read it, so will look up more information on that one.
These last two weren't seen on the awards last night, but they might have been part of the award ceremony after the two hour limit given to the ceremony on TBN.
It was an outstanding ceremony with performances from many of the artists, and one done live from the Netherlands, by the group King and Country. Chris Tomlin sang Good Good Father, an awesome song. Zach Williams sang Fear Is a Liar, and so many great songs along with one new one that I finally found the name for - What a Friend by artist Matt Maher. Don't worry, in a few days I'll forget the artist's name, but not the song.
I wish I could link all the great songs from last night, but that isn't possible. So, I will link the Song of the Year - Even If, by Mercy Me.
Are you a KLOVE fan and had a chance to watch the awards last night? I've been a fan for a couple years now. It's a wonderful Christian music station, if you're ever looking for something that is uplifting to listen to, I highly recommend it.
Thanks for reading.

You know honestly I have not heard of these awards. It should be on a major network instead of the crap that is on there. At least have a balance. I mean it doesn't mean they are favoring a religion. I think the networks just think it would be a kettle of worms.

I did see that movie, I can only imagine, with a friend and then got to talk the word with her for awhile afterward.
I don't listen to that station as I am either listening to family life radio which plays those songs too, otherwise, I'm listening to teaching tapes. This is mostly in my car when driving.
At least iif you forget the singer you know where to look his name up. Here.
