I'm switching you to "more" of home made...

I usually feed my cat commercial dry cat food. At times, I feed her those canned wet food too that comes in different flavors.
Just recently, I changed her diet to home made foods. Now, I prepare her a variety of food - fish, chicken, meat, and veggies -- cheese! (She loves cheese!
)
It wasn't as easy as simply putting food pellets on her bowl, but its okay, as long as she stays healthy. I was made aware that a cat diet consisting mainly or only of dry pellet foods can cause formation of crystals because of lack of moisture in the diet.
For the longest time, I'd been feeding her more of this food and less of home prepared ones. Now I'm turning it the other way around - more of home made variety and less of dry foods.
I guess that's better.
How is your fur friend's diet?
What do you usually feed your cat?

@mlgen1037 I guess those are strays. Sometimes, there are cats outside too, I feed them when I see them.

@pitsipeahie Yes, they are stray cats. My cousins take care of them.

@pitsipeahie This for sure, I remember she cooked chicken and carefully removed the bones to avoid to hurt them.

@LadyDuck Oh yes chicken bones could be dangerous even to dog. It could kill them. I do that too even in fish, I meticulously remove as much fish bones as I can.

My cats get a combination of moist and dry. They get a high quality blend, in my opinion. Everyone is happy.
I've seriously considered making homemade food for them but with 13 or 14 or however many feline mouths I have to feed, ( I stopped counting the number of cats we have after 5 ) my kitchen would have no room or time for me and my husband.
Anyway, I think it's very commendable what you are doing with your kitty. Good for you. Or maybe it's good fur you.
I couldn't help myself, sorry.

Oh yes, it could be quite difficult when you have plenty of cats.
I just want to give the little master a variety and she seemed to be happy.

@pitsipeahie I think you are a loving owner. I would love to do some experiments in the kitchen, However, I am not good at cooking.

I give her either Fancy Feast Medleys or Beyond wet food. For dry I have been getting either Cat Chow, or Beyond. But right now she's eating Supreme Source dry food.
