Saturday was a good and bad day, but mostly good. I got a message from a cousin on FB that she's having an event coming up on the 23rd involving vendors and all kinds of fun at her shop.
One, I didn't know she was back from Arizona, and two, I didn't know she owned a rock shop near where my son and grandson live. After verifying her rock shop is the one my grandson frequents, we decided to introduce him to someone he knows quite well, but didn't know he was related to.
So, Saturday morning I took him over to the rock shop and introduced him to his cousin, and I met her grandson, also a cousin, and the same age as my grandson. It was fun to see the look on his face to know he was related to the owner of the shop.
I also learned she's full time now in Wisconsin, and won't be going back to Arizona. She sold her home there.
As for the bad part of Saturday. I do laundry at my son's, and my grandson has a tent set up in the basement. I fell now, two weeks in a row because of that tent. It takes up a major part of the basement, and this time when I fell, I folded my knee completely under me, and yes, it was the same knee I hurt when I fell off the curb at the hospital. So, no fitness center for me until this heals.
My son also had an accident regarding that tent when he went down there. He broke his foot at work several weeks ago, and it's healing well, but he doesn't need something like that tent hindering his healing either. So, he's going to make certain it comes down, for both our sake's.
I did just hear from the doctor's office regarding the x-rays they took last week, and other than having extreme arthritis in that knee, there's nothing broken. So, that's a good thing. Now to just get it healed without any further problems or complications.
I just had a very long nap. I didn't realize I was so tired. I hope I'll be able to sleep tonight.
I didn't spend as much time in the pool as normal because the knee pain is pretty bad, but I'm working on pushing through and past it and getting it healed. The jets in the whirlpool hot tub felt really good on the knee, and I know it's aiding in the healing process.
So, anyway, that's how this weekend was, including the graduation party on Sunday that I wrote about.
How was your weekend? Happy Monday to everyone. Thanks for reading.

Thank you. It's starting to feel better, but it's going to take time to heal.

i like the good news but i feel sad because of the fall you had. it is hard to step on something and leads you to stumble down. can't the tent be transferred in another area?
