"A Snake In The Grass..."

I've written a post about how the mother-in-law some how always appears out of the blue whenever I'm outside. I've even experimented like I'm doing today by staying inside and she's inside as well!! Anyway, the title of this post is apparently what her husband called her when they were married. She apparently liked to run off with other men when the need arises that she was looking for greener grass on the other side. Of course when she had her fill she would return back to her husband and the husband truly loved her and took her back. He loved her in spite of her lies and fooling around. According to my hubby (the only child that was sent to foster care because the father was afraid that the mom would kill my hubby in his sleep) he would refer to her as "a snake in the grass." Now every time I go outside and she's out I will think of her as "a snake in the grass." If you're unsure of the meaning or what I'm referring to I just did a search and it states: "A snake in the grass is a pretentious, dangerous person such as a hypocrite, mole, or spy. This idiom draws on the danger of being bitten by an unseen snake in tall grass, likely because it was stepped on or felt threatened." This would definitely would describe the mother-in-law. ~Peace~

An exact anagram of Mother in Law is 'Woman Hitler'.

Hi. Thank God I never had to deal with one. Mother-in-law is nice and sweet but I experienced it with other people.

That is a shame that you have to live so close to her. I would be looking to move ASAP! I'm sad that you guys have such a horrible person as a mother/mother-in-law. My husband's mother is wonderful and I just love her.
