I first heard about Morning Pages a few days ago. I knew about it from a website called 750words. Morning Pages is a concept comes from Julia Cameron, the author of The Artist's Way. According to Julia Cameron, Morning Pages are 3 pages of longhand, stream of consciousness writing, done first thing in the morning. The website owner of 750words mentioned there are around 250 words in a page, so 3 pages are about 750 words.
I like this concept, and decided to straight away start this new habit. I always like to write down what I think, perhaps it's about what'd happened the days before, what's my plan going to be on that day, or just what's currently in my mind. Basically it's like brain dump.
I wanted to start writing on 750words, but it's actually a paid service. I finally found a similar website, Paper Cosmos, where I can write for free. I started writing on 31 May, and I missed writing it yesterday. Well, I am not a consistent person, but I am trying to learn to be.
Do you write in the morning?

That is good that you have found a site where you can write for free. Good luck with that.
I can write yes, but through my computer. My handwriting has deteriorated since the advent of computers.

Morning pages or morning journal as we, planner addicts, call it is something that I have known for years now and I do it on and off. And yes I did my morning journal this morning.

Hi Leeka. I have not tried that as I think about other things.

i've had writer-friends who did it and filled up many notebooks.
on those websites you mentioned (750words and Paper Cosmos), what do they do with whatever you write there?
