Hot and No Water

Hello everyone. I was browsing my FB account and stumbles on the news that one of the water utility that service our country will be shutting down one pump and it will be affecting various areas in the south of Luzon. According to them they will interconnect the pump to the new water facility. My city is one of the affected areas but I am glad to know that our barangay or district will not be affected but some district around us will be affected. So I am thinking of preparing also because the water pressure might be affected and will bring ours to low supply of water. It is irritating when news like this came along because the weather is hot already and having no water supply will be a bad addition.
Maynilad is temporarily shutting down its Putatan Water Treatment Plant (PWTP) in Muntinlupa City starting June 6. This shutdown is necessary so that PWTP can be interconnected to the new water...

oh. we thought we were going to be affected by that fortunately we didn't. And also this one but still I will prepare for this because it can cause low pressure for the water. You will never know.

@rakski I can imagine how uncomfortable, especially you are living in the hot weather. I had worked in Manila before, it was really terrible feeling.

It does sound though that what they are doing will be good for everyone, and they gave you a heads up so you know what to expect. That's a good thing. You can prepare.

You are wise to prepare just in case. Too bad it has to happen at such a hot time of year.

As per checking, our area will not really be affected but the next district to us will be so I want to be sure that we will have ample supply, I stock some yesterday.

Everyone needs water and for their goodness they want to interconnect one pump with another. Pressure will be slow and you have to adjust. I think time will not increase. It's also pressure situation for pump operators too.

Oh that's sad news, even here in Baguio, we always have water deliveries because of insufficient supply from Baguio Water District.

@Jessabuma probably because it is summer and there are more people than normally is so the water consumption is much higher
