Traffic for no discernible reason

OK, traffic is a fact of life in certain areas we all know that, and plan accordingly..however, today, even though I didn't get to start home as early as I wanted to for a variety of reasons..I thought I would still make it before rush hour..anyway, there was construction but none of the lanes were closed and the traffic was creeping along on I95 it took me about an hour to go 15 miles. I didn't see why it was like that. Then there was a sign of an accident at a certain mil marker at that mile marker I saw nothing still backed up. I get off there to find an alternative rougte than somehwhere along the way..when the cars were still jammed up on the alternate route..An ambulance comes by..everyone tries to squeeze over the right with no where to go..anyway..eventually..the traffic became normal again..South of Fredericksburg I got back on the interstate because I cocoud see it was moving and the alternative route was jammed up..anyway..I finally got home..Doesn't traffic for no real reason bug you?

Yes, that would be annoying..One time I was on my way to the airport years ago when I had the same thing. I was in a cab..and kept hoping he knew the best way to go!

We've been stuck in traffic before and yes, it's very frustrating. Hopefully, noone was hurt badly in this car accident:(

@kobesbuddy Not necessarily, in this state they are usually called as a precaution. I never saw the wreck..so I couldn't tell you.

I can get to the place where I work in 15 minutes. I choose to get there 30 minutes before it starts just to avoid the rush hour. I don't like being stuck in the traffic jam. I get out early when almost no cars are at the road.
That is recommended to use an application that monitors the traffic on the roads, find the best rout to get to the destination. We have "Waze" in my country, and it works fine. Maybe you have an application based on GPS and community support.

Yes I used to have that app..but it uses a lot of data so I dropped it.

I try my best to avoid it. It is very frustrating when it seems like there is no reason for it.

Definitely bothers me. Especially since we have enough of it here from memorial day weekend to labor day weekend.

On holiday weekends here in the summer lots of traffic is around. Actually, normal weekends here in the summer are pretty busy too.

Traffic is very hard to deal with. I find if I do not leave early on my scooter when I am going to town then I am stuck in traffic and it goes very slow. Accidents and construction to not make roads easy to travel also.

It really bugs a lot of people. They feel they have to do something even though they cannot move so they honk their horns. When the light just turns green they honk so the cars will move. It is amusing at times to watch stuck traffic and watch the people in their cars while they are waiting.

Yes, I have been caught in traffic and it's so frustrating. I know you were glad to finally get home.

Yeah, this was a bad one..cars were over heating and everything..They have VDOT trucks that assist people having vehicle issues. There were a few of them on the sidelines.

Yes, for miles there was nothing going on though..no lanes closed and cars just creeping..what a pain.

Yes, I did plan..but I was detained do to circumstances beyond my control.
