The Luck of the Draw followed by the Uncertainties in Life

We make a beginning here but who decides when, where and why? If our parents did not meet, would we be born here?
We are thrust into an unforgiving world and then start our fight to survive. Add to that, the constant uncertainties from all angles. Of course, we are better off than other species that have nothing to fall back upon in times of sickness. “No one owes us a living” is a stark reality for them compared to us.
We will always be vulnerable to uncertainty despite whatever progress we make in terms of science and technology. Even famous seers like Nostradamus could not predict what is in store for us, though some build the reality around vague pronouncements.
We do not know when, where, how and who will bid us the final goodbye here; that is some uncertainty! We are not aware whether and when any fatal sickness will show up.
One can be fit as a fiddle and proud of the fitness and workout, but a poisonous snake can have the last laugh!
I have known some who met the right person by chance to get big breakthroughs. I have also known some good for nothing treated like royalty by their spouses!
We are dealt some cards and it is up to us to do our best though some curse their luck as they play along.
I just grin and bear the uncertainties, laugh at myself, and that is what life is about.
Life can be taken as deadly serious or just plain fun, though in between is my general take. I keep in mind everything is temporary and we are soon forgotten.
How do you face the uncertainties of life?

Hi Siva. I face those uncertainties by being strong and having faith because that is the only thing that I have when people will leave me on my own.

@Shiva49 For sure. That is all part of the journey but still happy that I get to meet people and became a part of my life.

I'm thankful for the gift of life and face each day with determination and hope. I realize that no matter what happens I know where I will end up and it's a good place so there is no need to worry about anything that might happen in this life and world. God is my trust and there is nothing to fear!

To me, there are no uncertainties to life. All is certain.
"Uncertainty cuts us off from the flow of love. Certainty maintains the connection."
Love is always certain of all it does, so when you are feeling uncertain, you have moved away from following it, faithfully fully. Take a step back into the certainty of love, and your life will be a certain one, the one you are here to live.

Uncertainty ties you up into a knot. Only with love, can you live knot free.

@Shiva49 I always grip tightly my mindset, that all must ultimately be right with my World, and with God's greater world too. All must come out of God's washing machine looking clean in the end.

You are right up there, Steve, with such an outlook.
I get flustered when I cannot find a solution to a problem that is mine to solve.
Soon, I find a way to put myself at ease.
There is that uncertain time in between and that challenges me to rise to the occasion - siva

Thanks, It is about 35 Vietnamese refugees waiting to be taken aboard the amphibious command ship USS BLUE RIDGE (LCC-19). They are being rescued from a 35-foot fishing boat 350 miles northeast of Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam, after spending eight days at sea. That is one tough and uncertain a life as one can get here!
Yes, we can do our best, with hope and trust in God, that we will be in safe hands like these boat people adrift in an uncertain world - siva
