This was my sandwich this morning: a cup of hot coffee and mayonnaise sandwich. We have cheese whiz spread, sandwich spread, and cheese, but I love the taste of mayo so I squeezed this plastic container of the mayonnaise and spread it, and ate the 2 slices of bread. Can you eat sandwich with just mayo as the spread? I can.

@cintol okay. ketchup especially tomato-made, taste so good even in French Fries. mayo can also be added on French Fries.

I like Mayo too but I could not eat it as the only middle to a sandwich.. I would but some meat in there.. either deli meat or canned chicken or turkey.. maybe even mixed in boiled eggs. for an egg salad sandwich..

so, you really need something where the mayo tops it in a sandwich. i want my sandwich with thick spread of mayo but since this brand of mayo is sweet and not salty, i can spread just a thin layer and enjoy the taste.

just mayo on bread? no. it would taste too plain for me. i need to add something, even if it's just a slice of cheese. however, if it's lady's choice sandwich spread, the classic red one, sure.

@ridingbet It's surely more filling that the mayo you buy in the stores. I serve mayo to accompany food, my husband likes the leftovers spread on a slice of bread.
