Yesterday afternoon, I barely made it to my only swim lesson with Paige, after I came home from my eye doctor's appointment. With my eyes dilated, it did make it difficult to walk with my sunglasses on. I was so glad to have my tote bag at the ready in case I had spare seconds of time. I made it on time.
Since the indoor slide was out of maintenance at the pool center of my gym, the lap pool were taken up for open swim with all lanes. So we went to the leisure pool for my swim lessons yesterday afternoon. Though the water was semi-warm, it haven't been filled up at three feet, when it was a little over two feet. I barely had time to tell Paige I took Tuesday off, since my first cortisone shot injection had been canceled and later rescheduled for July.
Other than my usual two laps for the breast stroke, she really gave me a tough workout. I did six laps of the breast stroke (with my feet barely touching the floor to stop) without a problem. Then she had me to six laps of the freestyle stroke (though my feet did stop a few times), and had my feet in and out of the water.
As for my physical therapy session this morning, I'm at the halfway point of my eight visit with my physical therapy session. Though my pain level was about a 3.5 on the scale, a bit better than last week, I did some of the same exercises with the kickboards and other equipment, I did some new ones. Last week I did 20 of them and this week was 12. I did get a new exercise to do over this week to help out with my upper back muscles. As for rescheduling them, the morning sessions were taken up for next week. So next Wednesday and Friday morning, I'll return to water aerobics only and then have PT at 2 PM next week. Two weeks from today, after I recover from my cortisone shot, I'll have one at the regular time schedule and have one session left in July.

@Marilynda1225 Thanks. I will, though it'll be summer hot in the 90s tomorrow.

Well hopefully the PT is helping. It helped my sister who has some intermittent problems with sciatica.

Yeah a tiny bit. I have one week to go before my first cortisone shot. Eeks. I'm glad it helped her too.

Hi Kristen. Why was the pool only up to 2 feet? But I like that you are able to some tough workouts.
