Building Off The Grid

Was binging this show on GAC called "Building Off The Grid" and saw this one that I thought was really special. It was about a builder who was helping a natural architect named Sunray Kelley to building a cabin for his son. It was to be done in the shape of a mushroom. It turned out great.
He lives in the Pacific Northwest and uses natural things he finds in the woods. On this particular project he made the walls out of mycelium which is a foamy-like vegatative part of the fungus of mushrooms. They make it into a dried brick and it is great for insulation. The roof was made from thatch and is actually a garden.
The homes look like little hobbit homes.
