Sunday Dive

So my son and I went for our Father's Day dive at the local dive quarry. We got to enjoy the dive and time together but we didn't much enjoy the weather. We had a nice 45 minute dive and averaged about 25 ft (7.6 meters) deep we did drop to about 40 ft (12 meters) at one point, so it was a pretty shallow dive but most everything in the quarry is at about that depth. It was nice and relaxing and enjoyable. The photo attached is one I took of my son going over the top of a boat that is sunk at about 28 ft deep. Unfortunately, many of the photos that we took didn't come out that great. Of course while diving it is sometimes hard to know how well the photos come out. Also, we do not have every good under water cameras, we mostly just take them for the memories so no need to have expensive equipment. The water temperature at 25 ft was about 61 f (15.5 C) a bit chilly but the outside temperature at 10 am was 89 F (31.6 C). The sun was out and it was quite humid. When we left and went to get some lunch at about 1 pm it had really gotten warm. The high for the day was 98 F (36.6 C) and the heat index had gotten to 106 F (41 C), and it really felt ever bit of 106 F. I ended up stopping at my dad's house for a little and then when home and relaxed the rest of the day in the air conditioning. Over all it was a very good day and I really enjoyed myself.
