It’s been quite a few days of weather here. We had a very windy day on Friday. All day we had winds at 20 mph gusting upwards of 50 and the temperature around 40F (4C). Saturday came and it was nice out for mid-March around here....

Bensen32 @Ineeddentures well not sure what they do now but back in my day if you signed up and then refuse to train, you can spend the rest of your time in the brig (jail).

Bensen32 Yeah, I am older than draft age but if they called, I would go, been there done that. Also, my kids are too old for the draft age, and the grandkids are too young.

Bensen32 Yeah, why not but then again not sure I would want them next to me in combat. I always kind of thought why don't we have a mandatory service many other countries do. I think it would be good for a lot of these kids.

Bensen32 Yeah, I dont see the draft coming back anytime soon. Things would have to go terribly wrong for that to happen. Yeah, I try not to drive anytime I can help it. It's too expensive.

Bensen32 Yeah and it keeps going up another $0.05 over night, 84 cents in a week is crazy.
