I normally don't hear from them, but yesterday the baby sparrows were getting a bit excited about being fed.
I was sitting in the living room watching TV and could hear them shouting at their Mom.
Even though I was walking fairly carefully they evidently could sense me because they quieted down as I got near.
I'm just waiting...Scar is gonna notice them pretty soon.

I was thinking Scar was going to catch wind of those bite sized snacks.

So what if Scar notices them? He'll just yell at them to get out of his yard. Then they'll say, "Can't... we don't have our flight feathers yet." And then Mom will get in the act and say, "Leave my kids alone or I'll peck your eyes out!"

I lived in the countryside when I was a child, and I often heard the sound of frogs at night. And the cricket. I think that's the most beautiful music. Now living in the city, I haven't heard the sound for a long time.

They nest there every year and he's never caught any babies yet, but he'll sit under the nest staring at it...hoping...
