Greetings fellow mylotters!! Hope every one is doing well!!
When we still lived behind the mother-in-law, we would take care of her chickens because one day she just stopped watering or feeding them...she never had any money to buy feed for them. Well, my husband and I couldn't see the poor chickens dieing as it was in the summer time. So, I took it upon myself to feed and water them. The mother-in-law even said they were ours now. (Well, when we moved she "took" them back!) Anyway, our dog,Pandora (that's in the picture) would go out in their chicken pen with them and never bothered them. There were times when some of them got out she would help herd them in.
The other day when I was out mowing, Pandora went over to the mother-in-laws. Now I don't trust the mother-in-law as I've heard stories of how she has poisoned animals before, so I try and make sure Pandora stays on our property, which she is usually good about doing.
Well, apparently some of the mother-in-laws chickens got out of their pen and Pandora herded them in for her. If Pandora wouldn't have helped the mother-in-law herd them up, they either would have been killed by the mother-in-law's dog or hawks. So Pandora was a good girl!! If Pandora had a resume, chicken herding would be added to it!!
~Peace~

Pandora is very beautiful and I am glad Pandora helps herd them back in. That is horrible that her dog and the hawks kill them.

She looks cute with beautiful coat and seems to be an intelligent one! Yes chicken herding or for that matter herding any animal is a big qualification for any dog and Pandora' s resume would have been always considered first , if her resume was put to use! Thanks!

What a good girl she is. I hope the MIL is feeding them again and not letting them go hungry.

Maybe he has the genes of those dogs that herd sheep
You mother-in-law is quite awful though, poisoning animals and all
