Our Little Mallows

My kids keep on bugging me for a pet forever. But it's hard to decide which one we should get. I can't have a dog cause I'm not sure if I am a qualified dog owner. I might not be able to take care of it the way a good pet owner should. We can't get a cat since I am allergic.
It took us 2 years before I was able to think about what pet should we have. A rabbit. We just realized it while watching Sofia The First. She's one of Disney's Princesses who can talk to animals because of her amulet. Clover is the bunny friend there.
So after some research how to take care of a pet rabbit, we took home Mallows a month ago.

Good thing you only have Sofia. As AKRAo24 has said, she will be a factory of babies if ever she will have a male companion.
I know, because we have a pair before when we were still small children and father brought home those. After some months the female gave birth to babies and again and again after that.
My father gave them all away to our land caretakers far in the mountains.

@cherriefic Oh for sure, you won't like it when the rabbits multiply. They multiply rapidly.
So, don't ever get a mate for your girl's bunny.

I don't think I can keep up with that. She's already playful herself. It's ok if we live in a farm I guess.

Thanks for the advice. I don't think I will get a companion for her. I'm fine with just one pet for now.

If I had been here I would have suggested birds--easy to care for, love interaction and, I found, the easiest pet to have!
Have fun and love with Mallows!

She's not bitting a all. Very friendly and sweet. Plus she's quiet unlike other pets.

That’s good to hear. We need to give ours because it’s not friendly anymore.

@LadyDuck That's her picture when we got her from the pet shop more than a month ago.

Congrats on getting Mallows. You were very honest is why you could not get a dog and a cat. I appreciate you telling us why you cannot have either one of those.
