Are You The Sole Decision Maker In Your Family?

India

I think this is a very important decision when we think about budgeting and other such decisions and the person who made the major decision should be calm and aware of the market situation and know how to compare prices of different products in same line and should try to save money from shopping as well so that it won't later on as it does involve quite a bit of money in shopping for grocery and other such things. What about you? Are You The Sole Decision Maker In Your Family? Do you like to compare pros? Please share.

I read the title of your discussion and thought I was doing another survey. As for decision making it's either me or the cat.

It's good to be the sole decision maker when the decision that you have to make favors yourself. But it's harder if it's a major decision that will affect everyone.

The final decision will always be coming from what the family had been discussed.

should the main income earner be the sole decision maker?

@thesupersingh good because the main income earner might not know the prices of groceries, cost of utilities, etc

No, definitely not. There are things you need to decide asap with your husband or partner but if it is a big decision, then we have to think and decide together
