Good Sunday afternoon from this side of the planet, how is everyone?
I and my sister went to attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 9:30AM. I brought along my hand fan and intentionally did not bring my umbrella. My sister however, thought of bringing it because I might not withstand the hotness of the sun’s rays, though I told her my fan can ‘cover my head anyway’.
She brought my umbrella but kept it inside her bag. From arrival to walking from the cathedral to the ‘mall of the valley’, I did not ask her to give me the umbrella to use it. I was contented with my hand fan.
I reasoned out that the sun’s rays was not too hot anymore. My sister kidded, “you are not applying glutathione anyway”, to which I agreed. I am comfortable with my skin color.
The umbrella however has another use instead of maintaining the skin color if one is applying glutathione: it is to protect the scalp against itchiness for possibility of dandruff, and also for prevention of possible heatstroke.
It is only 30 degrees Celsius this high noon; it is cloudy outside and windy as well.
Is it hot in your place?

@ridingbet no, because i'd feel even hotter (i sweat easily). i've always wanted to be darker, but it's hard for me to tan.

@hereandthere well, no need for you to tan. i think if your natural skin color is fair, so be it. at least, you do not apply whitening lotion to whiten your skin

yes, we should protect ourselves from the sun's rays. but do you also wear long sleeves to protect your skin from getting sun-burned?

@ridingbet , Very few people carry that as there is lot of rush on the streets.People either prefer Caps or tie a piece of cloth around the head (Scarf) to get themselves protected from heat! Thanks!

@ridingbet Hehehe You will be surprised that my co-staff in the hospital are into it. For me, I would love to be in tanned. Because I know the real skin tone will come back as soon as I go back to Baguio.

@Shavkat your skin tone is blushing brown, right? when we had our affiliation there in 1978, our skin, our cheeks, were like blushing and i liked that.
i am not dark-skinned though, i am fair in complexion.

Good afternoon po, Ingrid. It is quite hot here in our place but it is bearable. Me too, I like my skin color. Hihi
We are going to Church and supermarket later with my family and we will wait for my husband too because he has work today. He had a swap of schedule.

@ridingbet Thank you po, Ingrid. hahaha. The one that is filtered?
None po because his original work days are Wed-Sat and one of his office mates had asked him to cover for him on Sunday. That office mate will then cover my husband's work on Wednesday.

It was hot on Sunday. I sweated while talking to an 8th grader after the church service.

@ridingbet Yup. We were outside because it was crowded in the church. And it was too hot then.

today, we are enjoying the gloom because the sun's rays are partially covered with the dark clouds. i will not be surprised if it will rain later.
