A wonderful party.

It is over 1am and I just came home from Humberto´s birthday party.
It was just family: Humberto and Dixie´s children and 3 of their grandchildren, Humberto´s close cousins (two wonderful men) and I. I am what we could call their adopted sister.
Dixie ordered the most delicious paella and we ate until we were all full. Besides that Dixie gave us all leftovers. I accepted rice from the paella but was not interested in the cake. I am not much for sweets.
One of my friend´s children brought me home and here I am. I just wanted to say good night. Sleep tight, dear friends.

sometimes we just order food, too, instead of cooking.
we also let visitors take home the food they like.

I will be able to fix all that Andrés and his son left misplaced as I don´t have to worry about lunch.

It is a delicious Spanish dish. The cake was much too sweet for my taste.
