Taking Chances in Lottery

It does feel good when we win a game of chances.
I am not a fan of any lottery or chance of luck games. I do admire people who take their chances on it and win. Here in our country we have here what we call “lotto.” A lot of Filipinos are into these and some of them have won millions of pesos already. I do not actually envy them, why should I in the first place, I do not bet! If they win, I believe that they deserve that.
Although I also believe in luck, I do not bet on that. I am not a great risk taker when it comes to that. I feel like I am just wasting my money betting on that kind of game. People got hooked on it that sometimes they even bet the last money intended for their family for taking the chance of winning. I also believe that it is like believing in false hopes and building castles in the air. And though there are really testimonials of people winning on this, I just could not afford it.

Hi Cheri. You know what they say, "Easy come, easy go." I do believe in you but not all people think alike and even if we want to stop them, they will still buy it and try their luck.

@cherigucchi Yes. And I think it is also their mindset that one fast way to get rich is joining the lottery.

Nice to know that you are not involving your self in the Games of chances. They are lucrative but no person gambling made any money so far in my opinion. It is teh man who makes them to play makes the money. Though I am related to Horse Racing Industry I never bet on the horses in the race! Thanks!

I don't usually buy lottery tickets (unless the money goes to charity) My mother-in-law used to participate in a lottery. Every year she paid about $80 for lottery tickets, but she only won $15.

I think Lottery should be out of law, people becoming addicted to this, and mostly the poor people goes for this fake thing, only losing their important money.

I usually buy a ticket twice a month for the Thai National Lottery. They cost about US$3 and that will not kill my budget. I have not won anything in a few months but perhaps today! My numbers for today are 687606. If only the last two digits come up it will pay me about US$120! If the last three come up it will be about US$600 and if all of them show up it will be about US$9000! I don't really expect to win anything but you never know!
