Good morning on a Saturday, how was your night?
My sister wakes up earlier than me but I get up of bed before her. As usual I do my chores of boiling water for the thermos and set the table with the loaf of bread, the mayonnaise bottle, cheese whiz bottle, butter knife, and our cups of coffee.
Our garden has many Arabian jasmine flowers but I don't pick them because they might immediately wither. My sister therefore does the picking. I just washed these 3 plastic bottles as makeshift vases for the flowers.
Right now she is cutting and trimming the sampaguita flowers. She will place the 2 vases in our altar and our parents' pictures (our mother loves these flowers and she was the one who planted the shrub). The 3rd one is for the altar in the master's bedroom where our mother slept until she complained of headache and vomiting.
Can you share us your makeshift vases?

yes, those red and white ribbons are from Red Ribbon which tie the box of cake.

the makeshift vases are plastic, and i asked my sister where she got those bottles. she said they are health drinks from Taheebo, a food supplement.

They are still nice adding something to them to make them look nice. Whatever works is good.

I have them in two places and often place fresh flowers in them. I have made a post about dry flower arrangements which I like to do picking stuff from the garden.

Hi my friend.. you're very creative in making those empty bottles as vases. I love how you beautify it with some ribbons. Sampaguita flowers are indeed one of those common flowers to place in the altar. My mom loves sampaguita flowers too but if she can't find any, she will just have some white or red roses instead.

i think even a stalk of the sampaguita is enough to propagate it to grow.

Good morning po, Ingrid. I had a so-so kind of night. I had to wake up when my husband had to go to work. My mom makes those makeshift vases before but I do not see much of them anymore.
