Is It Just Luck?

I couldn't think of anything to write about this morning so I started by just reading what other people are saying and then waiting until something popped into my mind as a starting point. So my topic this morning is how some people can be so lucky. They start off with nothing but two decades later, have the life they were dreaming of. Is it just lucky that some people seem to get breaks when they least expect them or is life just about being in the right place at the right time. I honestly don't have the answer to that, but I do have one cousin who seems to lead a charmed life! Her life was never bad, I have to point out, but each step she took seemed to always going up the staircase to the life she always wanted.
Do you think that you are lucky... now that I bring up the topic??

I think just good luck is not enough. Good luck, together with hard work, can make a person succeed.

I think I am still lucky. I am still alive despite having a Kidney Failure. Dialysis helps me to survive though.
And I am lucky enough to have a boyfriend who still loves and take cares of me, and I am still lucky to wake up in the morning.

I seem to ask that same question too when I see my friends having all the time in the world. But then I realized that it is all just a cover.

I look at it this way that luck could be an answer and so could being in the right place at the right time, but, I also think that we all have a destiny and if we follow the right path then things can be could and also if you are good at something stick to it. I like you post.
