Drinking Songs Mike Batt The Railway Hotel

My love of all things to do with pubs and drinking has led me to putting together a Youtube drinking songs playlist. Many of the songs are about getting drunk and partying wild.
A lovely exception is this delightful romantic song by Mike Batt (best known as the lead singer of The Wombles), here singing about his honeymoon, and lamenting how his wife deserved a stay at the wealthy Savoy but all he could afford was a cheap rundown bed and breakfast room in The Railway hotel pub.
Such a sweet song.
