Hello everyone.
As you can see in the photo, tgis is my lemon plant. The left was taken Friday afternoon and the other one today.
I should have taken action when some of you told me to take them away because they are eating the leaves. Now the leaves are all gone.
I put the caterpillar in some other plants but I guess they do not like the plant where I put them.
because I was looking fir them and they are not there anymore. They are fast!

that's what i planned to say, put them in other plants because they need to eat the leaves, it's their food. i hope some still survived to become butterflies. mother is planning to put kulambo (mosquito net) on her plants.

Oh okay. I have a net I bought at a gardening shop but I think worms and others can still get inside it. Kulambi is much better. I transfered them, but now I cannot find them anywhere. I still have 4 pots of lemon and calamnsi so I am keeping eye on them now.

As far as I can remember, even when I was a kid, caterpillars thrive on calamnsi plant. That's why I see a lot of butterflies in our home before when my grandfather planted one.

I believe its leaves will grow again, dear friend. But you have to guard against caterpillars, and don't let them eat the leaves any more.

Yes, the leaves will grow again. This has happened many times in our citrus plants.

I do not know a lot about gardening. It's sad that these caterpillars have eaten the leaves of your lemon plant.
Hopefully they won't make their way back to the plant and eat it more.

@rakski I had to look up what a calamansi is and it seem as if it's like a kumquat but more citrus like.
I hope your other plants will not have those pesky caterpillars crawling on them.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I will have to see them more often nowadays. For the longest time they were growing, this is the first time I saw some caterpillars. I saw worm more often

I think I gave you that suggestion but you must have placed it quite close to your lemon plant. Don't worry your plant will not die but on the contrary it will grow with ore vigour.

Caterpillars can swiftly destroy a plant as they are eating machines.

It's sad! If roots are strong, plant might revive. Take care of it.

Oh nooo, you should have not placed the caterpillar on those leaves.
The caterpillar eats all of the leaves of that particular lemon plant
