Bridges that are old with wood that is molded, warped and soggy. Water that is cold and filled with sewage and plastic drink rings. A riverbank that seems to get further the closer you get to it. A man who you aren't sure you should trust or get away from. The sky darkening with the promise of rain and the threat of thunder. Cold and shivering limbs that turn to ice and refuse to move. Nowhere to look, no safe place to go. Pieces of bridge plunge into the water. Mildewed and threadbare rope that offers no assistance. And then you awaken, cold, shivering and frightened.
