Regardless of whether you have 200 cable channels or just the basic options - early morning programming pretty much stinks. The exceptions to that are the old movies shown on TNT and Turner Classic and I Love Lucy. Every morning there are four back to back episodes but I am pretty sure that I have seen most of the episodes that were aired. When you compare shows that are on today to what Lucy and Desi came up with - you'd be hard pressed to find something that makes you crack up as much as Lucy stomping grape barefoot or getting accused o passing counterfeit bills in Paris. You never know what guest stars will pop up either; John Wayne, Rock Hudson, Orson Wells and Harpo Marx are just a few of the stars that graced the small screen. Sure, they smoked a lot and wore matching pajamas (even though they slept in separate beds the first couple years) but there's true comedic worth and value to every episode. Here are some of the best clips The Chocolate Factory Bread From Hell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RA3hc4P3qe8 Pregnancy Cravings https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOfuoA146Y0 Image: First Street Confidential
Here is the famous Chocolate scene from I Love Lucy, an illustrious tv series in the 1950's.

@freak369 I used to watch I love Lucy. it was really a very funny show. I also like Archie Bunker even though he was a bigot in the show.

I agree, when TV was new and channels just a few, actually just that one really. There was a slot for sitcoms from the west. Would look forward to the Lucy show every week.....In the 80s
