Fall Politics Heating Up Again

Since our California primary a month ago, my husband and I have been able to relax without continual calls to help with the Congressional campaign of Katie Porter, the candidate we have been supporting.
However, all that is about to change.
We have been invited to her official kick-off party for her campaign, which means the next four months will once again be a whirlwind of activities. It will be fun, but will certainly keep us busy.
Fortunately, now she will have the full force and assistance of both the California and the National Democratic Party behind her. She will not be as dependent on just a small band of supporters.
Fingers crossed all goes well and she wins the November election! I would love to go visit her in Washington, DC next year!

@JudyEv - You are absolutely right. She believes in issues which are important to me and my family ... healthcare for all, pro-choice regarding abortions, protecting our environment, restricting access to weapons of war. Even though a Democrat has never won a Congressional seat in our District, she has a very good chance of winning. We are going to do everything possible to help her!
