Streaming TV

Does anyone here use a streaming tv service? I am running a trial on one service now. I bought a tv with Roku installed and found free tv and free movies channels. I guess if I had to leave my current cable, which is screamingly expensive, and watch the free tv, I could get by. They offer news channels to watch, I try to skip the news, lol. I would have to keep my internet with my current plan but that only runs $40.

Yes, I have been using streaming TV services ever since Netflix came out with theirs. By the way, you don't need cable to run streaming TV, I don't have any cable at all and am currently watching Amazon Prime with my Roku. But you do have to have an internet connection.

I get my internet through my cable co. I can lose the tv service and jusy pay for internet. I think this will be my last month paying fot tv. Even with the occasional interuptions, free is still good!

@rebelann Yes, every other app works fine on Roku but theirs, lol. Be glad to rid myself of them.
