No, not the one you put on dessert. I hate that whipped cream and always request that it not be put on my dessert or hot chocolate. Though sometimes, I don't tell them "no whipped cream" because I don't think it would be on top of whatever I am ordering but then it is.
I am talking about the ballet that's taking place, this week only, at the Met Opera in NYC. I am going there this Saturday.
It's a Richard Strauss ballet choreographed by Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky and pop surrealist visionary Mark Ryden.
According to the Met Opera website this is what Whipped Cream is about:
"In this fantastical confection, a young boy overindulges at a Viennese pastry shop and falls into a delirium. To escape his attending physician, the boy dreams of his triumphant rescue by Princess Praline and her court, Princess Tea Flower, Prince Coffee, and the marching Marzipan."
This sounds like a very interesting story and the costumes are very colorful and imaginative.
I will be sitting in Family Circle again, which is the 5th level of the venue, but it will be in the lower part of it, which I like. Though the seat is not in the center section, it's close to it.
The weather won't be cool but should be not as hot as it was when I went to see the Don Quixote ballet last Saturday, which is good.
Should be a fun time... And then I will meet up with hubby and we will go dine out somewhere.

This is a ballet.
But it's in the Met Opera building so I can understand the mix-up. Though I do use the word ballet in the discussion.

@lovebuglena For some strange reason, only my mind could comprehend, I equated opera and ballet together as the same thing. I really do know better.
