I have a freckle iin my left eyes

Today was my day for my yearly visit to the eye doctor. My eyes has not change much.no need for new lenses. But he spotted a freckle in my left eye. they took a snapshot of this.To keep it on file. Right now he was not too worry about this. By the way.My lot has been very very slow. Due to the heat? I did get a shot today.As the blood count drop to 10 Which is not bad.But he wants me to stay on the shot treatment. This is the only option I have. photo online I google this information below. ============================================================= You’re probably familiar with freckles on your skin, but did you know you can also get freckles in your eye? An eye freckle is called a nevus (singular; “nevi” is the plural), and different kinds of freckles can occur on different parts of the eye. While usually harmless and nothing to worry about, they do need to be monitored by a doctor since they can become a type of cancer called melanoma.

MyLot surely had a problem, but now it's fixed. I am sure that there is nothing to worry about the freckle, those things are pretty common.

@amadeo It is surely better to have them checked every year. I also go for an annual check due to my glaucoma.

@LadyDuck yes they are.But still have to check it every year.If I am still around of course.LOL Some can turn in Melanoma

@amadeo I did not know about a freckle in an eye. I have heard of pink eye. How does one get a freckle in their eye? How often do you have to have it checked?

@JustBhem no it is not bad.Does not affect the eye sight.Nothing to do with the sun. Just happens.Had it for years.

I was born with a freckle on my retina. It must be checked yearly to make sure it does not become cancerous. I am back after quite a break. Hoping you and Mike are great. Amanda

I didn't notice that the activity on the site was slim, I wasn't here either.

I've never heard of a freckle on your eye, did you see it before going to the doctor's or is this discovery as a result of them magnifying things?
