Well, the final letter to our alphabet trivia quiz about girl-inspired songs. I have no favorite girl-titled songs with the letter Z. As a matter of fact, I could not find any. Now for the good news... I do have some favorite artists with the letter Z to quiz you on. In additon, I found a song about a girl named Zelda, a name I vaguely remember from "The Many Lives of Dobie Gillis," the TV show. So, in tribute to Zelda Gilroy from the Dobie Gillis show, here is that video titled "Zelda," by Mister Hunt. Problem is, it is not girl-themed, but about a car he named Zelda. Oh well, it is a female name, . Anyway, back to today's quiz. Here are the clues to my favorite "Z" titled bands. Do You Know Who They Are????? 1. This artist wrote some great songs with some unusual titles. One title theme was about a horror movie character, another, about Lawyers, Guns and Money. He also wrote major hits that were recorded by other artists, including "Poor Poor Pitiful Me", "Hasten Down the Wind" and "Mohammed's Radio." He toured with the Everly Brothers as their keyboard player and band leader. His albums usually had tunes with a humorous quality to them. 2. This group was an English rock band, formed in 1961. Their original name was the Mustangs, but they quickly realized that there were other groups with that name. The bassist eventually came up with the band's name which was based off a walking dead type of person which the group figured no one would use. The group had some big hits including "She's Not There," "Tell Her No," and "Time of The Season." After the group disbanded in 1969 the keyboardist formed another band called "Argent." 3. The English band developed from an earlier group, the Detours, and established themselves as part of the mod movement in Britain. The lead guitarist was known in their earlier years to smash apart his guitar on stage. This group recorded a famous LP Rock Opera about a blind boy. The bands name is the same sound an Owl makes....Final clue this band is not one that has a Z in it. Just like this band That's a wrap... All the letters in the alphabet used and I still came up one # short of 26. I never was good at math , but I am going to put the blame on the letter X instead, . If only some artist had written a song about Xena The Warrior Princess. Liner Notes: Other favorite "Z's" - Zebras and Zorro..... If your stuck and need additional help just let me know in your response. Glad to throw a few more hints your way and aid "your search of that lost chord" or in this case tune. @dgobucks226 I have never heard of him. Maybe the Canadian werewolves didn't like him and so they may not have played his music here.

Zevon who? (See what I did there, you zombie!) I’m heartbroken. I’ve waited 26 letters for Allan Sherman to show up, and you snubbed him.

#3 The Who. The owl clue helped with that one. The only singer I know with Z in his name is Z Z Top. I don't think you have that one here, but if you do, hey, it was an accident. I don't know his work anyway, just his name.

@dgobucks226 I'm glad to say I didn't know those groups either, so I wouldn't have guessed them right. Just an FYI, there's a Christian artist named Zoe.

I do like ZZ Top but did not include it, although should have given them a mention. Sometimes the artists can be as hard as the songs #2's name is the similar to the name of a horror character. Trivia Answers: 1. Warren Zevon 2. The Zombies 3. The Who
