When I was getting tickets to Summer: The Donna Summer Musical through Audience Rewards, which lets me use my earned show points and pay a much lower cost per ticket, all they were offering were weekday evening shows. So I had to settle for tonight's performance. Usually, if I go alone, I like Saturday matinee shows.
I am thinking of maybe going to the city earlier so I can grab a light dinner before the show but I am not sure if that will happen.
Temps today are in the 90s and I have no desire to go outside. I will probably be soaked and exhausted by the time I get to my train in this heat, which is about a 27 minute walk from my house. I have no choice though. I've been looking forward to this musical for a while now. I love Donna Summer's music and am excited to see her story unfold on stage.
The show is under two hours with no intermission. Hopefully, I won't need to go to the bathroom during that time...

Enjoy the show. If you don't drink a lot, you shouldn't need to use the bathroom.

Sometimes I can pee more often without drinking a lot. But I made it ok.

@just4him I really did! And I had a nice treat before the show. Waffle drizzled with caramel and topped with passion fruit sorbet.

And so was the weather. Mid-high 90s.
