Appointments

Do you need to book any appointment for you or your children? I need to book an appointment for my son to have an eye test. My daughter needed to have a brace in her mouth and she wouldn't do this. Maybe when she is older she will understand. Sometimes I feel appointments follow each other. I don't like it when several appointments are in the same week. In the May half term we had one in the city and one locally which was a long walk.
How do you feel about appointments?

I hate it when appointments are there, and then people do not adhere to them. I lose a day, or even more as has happened with my insurance agent...will you believe it, something that was to be over by June 30th has just been put in motion today? Everyday he keeps saying he will come. He said tomorrow morning he will be here. I hope he keeps his word.

I try to make the main appointments during the kids' summer vacation - and as I have 2 kids, I try to make them both for the same day/time. But it's not always possible now - my daughter has braces and has an appointment now every couple months. I need to make an appointment for her to get her eyes checked as she has been having problems seeing afar (like the board in class) before school starts again.

It is an excellent time for the appointment in the summer holidays. I hope you daughter likes her braces . I wish you manage to get her an eye test appointment . Yes, you need to get her eyes checked. A couple of years old a girl in my daughter's class had a lovely looking pair of glasses. Her mum told me she got two free pairs of glasses. So I will again take my son there for his eye test.

@maximax8 Summer is most convenient! My daughter hates her braces
but she is dealing with them pretty good . . . she has at least found ways to be able to eat things on the no-no list. Oh yes, we will have to make that eye appointment soon . . . we saw a play and she said she could not see the actor's faces
! Free glasses (even to have one) is a great deal . . . hope all goes well with his eye test!

I don't like them at all. I think that appointments can weigh on your mind for a long time, like for weeks or months until that appointment is taken and finally it is all over. Then after the appointment you have more time to forget about it. How long was your walk to your visit to your appointment in the city?

I think you are right about appointments weighing over your mind for a long time until they are over. Our walk was 45 minutes long to the dentist. Afterwards there was a very storm to walk home in. The Children's Hospital in the city is a 30 minute walk from the train station. I like the walk that goes along a riverside path into a park. Then it is up to the hospital.

I have an appointment this weekend for my elder one's eye check-up. She had one three weeks ago and they could not find her real power as she had some allergy. They gave drops for three weeks and Saturday is the follow up.
