Want to see Mean Girls and Pretty Woman musicals

There are two musicals that I want to see. One is Mean Girls, which is based on the book/movie and the other one is Pretty Woman, which is based on the iconic film. Mean Girls has been out for some time now. Pretty Woman will start sometime this month.
Haven't checked out Pretty Woman prices yet but Mean Girls tickets are pricey. Been entering their lottery but so far have not won. They did send me an offer for discounted tickets but they are only for the dates in September that I cannot attend as I want to see it with my husband.
I think I will have to resort to getting regular priced tickets where the seats are at the very end of the mezzanine. Those are slightly more affordable. I don't want to sit that far but no choice if I wanna see the musical. I can keep playing the lottery but I may never win.
UPDATE: I got two tickets to the Pretty Woman musical. Price per ticket was $99, plus those pesky fees. That's the cheapest price for tickets. At least there was no charge to mail them to me. Total came out to $221.70. I looked to see if there were any discount offers but found none. 
Though I will get SB for purchasing the tickets via Swagbucks Shop & Earn. The seats are three rows from the end of mezzanine. I don't want to sit that far but I also don't want to spend $139 + fees, so will have to settle for these seats.

I didn't know there was a mean girls musical. Interesting.
Hope the show is really good to make the seats worth it.

The musical had a number of Tony nominations and actually won some of them.

I hope a better deal comes around or you win the ticket lottery for one of the shows. I don't know much about musicals or the theater but I think it would be a really grand experience.
Forgive me for being naive but you will be headed into New York City to see these shows?

I really wanted to see the Hamilton musical but the only tickets ever available were resale tickets for ridiculous prices. I decided to play the lottery but never won. Then I gave up on that. And when the opportunity came to try and get tickets when a new batch of them came out I entered the chance to be able to get presale tickets. I won that. Tickets were $199 a piece, plus fees. Not cheap by any means but I got them because really want to see this musical and won't be able to get anything cheaper. Plus, these prices are as good as it's gonna get. I can still play the lottery for a chance to score 2 tickets for $10/ea. but highly unlikely I will win as I've been trying many times with no luck.
