On this gorgeous afternoon for my second to last day with Paige, all good things might come to an end on Thursday. I even said "aloha" to Paige and asked her about her preparations to the move---she's still packing and dealing with her heavy furniture at the moment.
Back at the leisure pool, we skipped the warm-up laps and got right do it. I did 4 laps of the breast stroke to kick things off. Then I did 4 laps of the backstroke and another 3 laps of the backstroke. With a cone in the pool, I swam underwater at three distances halfway through the lane. Then I swam a half-lap of the butterfly (which still needs to be worked on a bit). No side crawl. But I hope to mention it to Paige on Thursday to wrap up our seven-month swim lesson session. Then I'll contact her via text and hope to see her during her visits around the holiday season this fall.
I did contact Rachael and let her know the news. I don't expect to hear back from her, but I thought she should know the latest.

I am sure you could out swim me. I can't and won't do those fancy strokes. I took swimming classes once and found them a bit annoying to be honest.
