Favorite Movie Week - Day 2

Yesterday was hectic, and I almost didn't get a movie in. Actually, only started. I finished watching it today. I couldn't stay awake yesterday.
It was laundry day, and I did a lot of running around with my grandson taking care of what he needed doing. Which was fine.
So, when it came to watching a movie, I chose one I thought I could stay awake long enough for. Didn't happen.
The movie is called Alice. It's a Alice in Wonderland movie with an interesting twist to it. It's not a 5 star movie, but it's still one of my favorites, and I like it a lot better than Tim Burton's Through the Looking Glass. Believe it or not, I would give that one a thumb's down
and maybe a single star.
However, Alice, another version of the famous story, is about a young woman looking for her father. She has a black belt in karate, and as it opens, is thinking romance with a person she knows as Jack Chase. He shows her a ring, hoping she would accept it along with his proposal, however, that immediately shuts down her feelings, or so she thought, until he's taken back through the looking glass. She follows, and literally falls through the looking glass, and meets some interesting people in her search for Jack Chase.
Alice stars Caterina Scorsone as Alice, Andrew Lee-Potts as Hatter, Matt Frewer as the White Knight, Kathy Bates as the Queen of Hearts, Philip Winchester as Jack Chase, Colm Meany as the King of Hearts, Tim Curry as DoDo, and Harry Dean Stanton as Caterpillar.
As you can see it's an interesting cast of characters, and an interesting movie. This has been around since 2009, and probably had it as long in my personal collection. Definitely 2
from me.
Thanks for reading. Image is mine of the movie case.

Sometimes we are so tired that no matter how interesting the movie we still fall asleep. Good that you can fall asleep and finish it another day.
