"Are you FOND of buying PRODUCTS cost PEANUTS?"

When I was young, I am into branded products available in the market. As the years go by, I became more practical in buying things. It triggers the moment of giving a piece of advice when a cousin likes buying branded products. I am explaining to him that he is just buying the name of the products. For the mere fact that some branded items are not that good in its quality. Thus, it is better to buy cheaper products with good quality. "Are you fond of buying products cost peanuts?" "What can you advise him?" Image Credit: pixabay.com

@amitkokiladitya I do think that it is fine to buy a pricey product as long as the quality is good.

I am not a big fan of branded products except for my shoes and watches. For otherthing I always consider if the product I am purchasing is worth the true value of the money I am spending!

For me, I squander money with modern gadgets. I don't mind about branded clothes. But then, I don't need to have some for now. If I am still working for a company, then I need to buy certain outfits that are required.

I usually buy medium price products. Too cheap products may not be of very good quality. Too expensive products may have more functions, which are useless to me.

It is nice to have the branded names, but having branded names and no money in my wallet and my bank, no way! I am a practical person and I hope my kids will be too.

That's one of my concerns. I would rather save the money than spending them. I don't go on trends and live in a simple life.

Some item I will buy that are popular brands, but I have tried out other non-familiar items. Sometimes, they are just as good. I have found this to be true with certain grocery and health items for example...

I also sometimes rely on my close friends who had tried the unbranded ones. If they had a good feedback, then I will purchase it. Personally, there is nothing wrong to be practical in our life.

For some reasons, I do buy branded products. But I need to wait until the price will be discounted or on sale. I do think the quality is good.

When I was in college, I used to buy branded products, from shoes, pants, bags, and tees. Then when maturity hit me, I went practical. My advice to him is, buy expensive products for gadgets that will take years. And for things like items of clothing, buy those who have quality but cheaper.

I am also in the same way of growing to maturity. I can't deny that most of the college years are branded to go along with the trend. But then, it needs to be out of my pocket. Since I don't want my parents to feel the burden. I tried to explain to him the same thing and hopefully, he will accept the advice.

Some of the branded products are really comfy to wear and last long. But not all the time. It also depends on the after care. And some inexpensive products are really the disposable type. But if you are wise and really a "know how" in buying affordable yet quality products then good for you.
