Finally...Cool Air

We are the proud owners of two good sized window air conditioners. No more getting so hot you can fry an egg on your forehead for us. At least as long as we stay in out two rooms.
We chose the two biggest bedrooms to put them in. One for sitting and one for sleeping. It will be a while before we will be getting our air conditioner fixed.
First we have to get the one in Inverness taken care of then we can do this one. For now, as long as we have a couple of rooms to use it will be fine.
Anyway, it really won't interrupt my routine or my husbands. There is also a bit of good news, with us using only two rooms there will be less cleaning to do.
So, today I am doing what I always do, reading, writing, relaxing, and keeping cool. What is on your agenda?

It must be nice having those air conditioners so you can keep cool in this hot weather.
Today I am running some errands before the rain starts. We're supposed to have a week of rainy weather but we need the rain so I guess I shouldn't complain

Our landlord just recently replaced our AC window unit in the living room. Husband had been asking him to since March. It sure feels good having a cool and comfortable place to relax.

@HazySue Yes, it was getting way too hot. Our living room was 96 degrees at night, not to mention how hot it was during the day.

@Shellyann36 I can't live without an air conditioner. I don't know how anyone can.

It probably wasn't raining when you wrote this post, but luckily for you all day today (Sunday) has been full of thunderstorms and rain (at least here in Gainesville). That's really kept things nice and cool here. I hope it's kept things cool your way too.

@HazySue Ever since the heavy rainfall we had on Sunday, it knocked down our temperatures quite a bit. We still haven't made it back up into the 90s yet. I'm enjoying the brief cool-down as much as I can right now before it gets too hot and humid again!

@moffittjc We have been inn the 90's for a while. The rain just seems to make it muggier here.

Nice to know that you got installed new ACs! That gives a big relief and also enhances our work efficiency dear fiend! The Humidity is big irritating factor along with the heat and ACs do a fine job of eliminating the humidity and providing a pleasant condition! have a great time and enjoy the life!
