If I Could Take Part In The Purge

The whole premise of The Purge movies is stupid, though I do fear Trump watching them and proposing the idea the very next day. The films suggest that the US Government sets aside one day a year for everyone to commit any crime they like without fear of arrest. Characters spend the film murdering one another or trying to hide from the killers until the purge day ends. There is no sensible reason to have such a law or such a day.
Then again, I can't help thinking of the people I'd be purging if we did have it here in the UK. The cretin who snapped at me in the street because my tee shirt was rising up and showing a little bit of belly flesh. No doubt the young ladies in short cropped tops were more appealing to him. I did yell back a few choice remarks of my own and he scuttled off sharpish.
There's the annoying great gob almighty 'i'm so intellectually superior to you mere foolish mortal' cowards who interrupt every conversation on the slightest pedantic excuse to derail everyone into listening to them pontificate. They listen for the slightest verbal hesitation or error, and then throw a sprawling monologue at everyone, trashing the original thread in the process - it is often a form of bullying when all is said and done. Part of me finds myself wondering if they might prefer their testicles relocating to a stuffed up their nostrils position.
habitual mobile phoners, elitist snobs who pick and choose who their friends should be, and exclude your friends as worthy of so much as saying hello to, people with zero interest in punctuality, hecklers at shows you want to watch in peace, football fans who can't grasp the idea that you don't love the game as they do, queue jumpers, litterbugs. My list is growing with my age. Unlike Yum-Yum who sings the song attached here, my list is not so short any more.
