The Urge To Correct Errors

When you see a street sign, or even an advertisement that has some grammatical or typographical (spelling) errors, do you want to correct it?
It happens to me even when we are on the road and I see such errors in signs. I feel like I wanted to go down from the vehicle and get a marker to edit it! Some people especially children would think such are correct spellings/grammar!
I wish those making such tarpaulin ads, or billboards will think or consult the online dictionary/grammar tools first before posting it.

Yes, we could not be contented as long as we see those mistakes being displayed!

yes it happens to me all the time
On my way to work I walk past loads of shops and see signs constantly which are full of errors.
One I remember is a recruitment consultant with a sign outside that always has mistakes in it...I'd never use them for that simple fact.

They do not consult a dictionary or the net to check if they did it rightly.

So true! I also wondered what was the meaning of PEDXING when I first saw it along Roxas Blvd.! I thought it's a name of a Chinese they put there to mark that street!

Yes, there are subtle ways to correct if especially if they are relatives.

i see some tarps of establishments here having errors in grammar and spelling. an "ENTERPRISE" is spelled "ENTERTRISE". but i do not want to go down and correct them. i am not a grammar Nazi and i am not a native English speaker. i may even have more errors than them.

Well, that's fine, you won't get stressed thinking about it.
