What to do with people that you work with that does not cooperate? I mean we were formed a team and in this team I was only tasked to do the project management and some minor correspondences.
There are 2 other groups that does different roles in the project team and both teams are not very good at working with each other, leaving me having to always coordinate with both teams to push through with a task.
I have really done everything and even including their bosses (who also does not seem to be interested in any output whatsoever). The thing is, we have finished the project well... thanks to a lot of stress on my part and trying to row two boats at the same time.
I am frustrated that each of them loves to pinpoint each other for errors instead of helping each other out. I guess it is already a people problem with lack of support from their boss to be strict about the performance of their team.
Ah, any other advise except extending my patience? =) haha

I am into that kind of situations many times. And I have learned my lessons that you can't forced people to cooperate when they don't want to. So instead of convincing them, I am focusing to those members who are very much willing to give their best for the team. Sometimes if people who don't cooperate felt they are not needed or not given attention then that's the time they will try to participate. So don't stress yourself too much.

Thank you Emerald. I try not to stress myself out but when they don't cooperate my work multiplies and that is not fair for me. but you are right, there are some who are helpful to me as well and at least they are there and has made improvements with the works of their team mates too.

@chiyosan you're welcome friend. One thing I have learned is to utilize people who are willing and forget those who doesn't want to be involved.

Talk to both teams seriously and ask them to drop the childish antics.

haha the project is going to be around for a long time as we are done with the migration but we still have to wait for the adoption and then transition everyone for the change in using the new system it is a lot of work for me more that these two teams are not helping that much at all

that is indeed not nice issue, the most important thing in such case is to speak with the boss

I can understand your problem. But I guess you have no other choice rather than giving your best

I worry about myself and my own needs, and save and invest. It matters to me little what others do. If they are incompetent at work they are most likely incompetent in life, and no matter what hurdles they provide to me, I will always get ahead despite that.
