I´m worried about one of my closest friends.

Lili has been having a persistent cough for some time and she decided to go to the doctor. I was glad she did that because most of the people I know have had a nasty cold lately and they have had to take antibiotics. Then came the conversations and the tests. My friend smokes heavily and cheats all the time saying that she is quitting when she smokes one cigarette less of the 2 packs a day. Today she called me and told me that she has a small emphysema. She is now smoking those e-cigarettes and she sent for patches. I am not sure if that will help. She is also starting a diet with a doctor as she is heavily overweight. So I don´t know how she will manage the anxiety of both stop smoking and dieting. I wish I could help her more than just by being there for her. And by telling her that in her next visit, I would not freeze to death by going out with her when she smokes. She will have to stay inside with me and not smoke.
