Where's my car??? And a vintage loudspeaker update. / myLot

My car was supposed to be done yesterday afternoon. But they ordered the wrong part, so I'm still stuck at home. More or less. I did cycle to my Thai place last night for some Tom Kha Gai to go (I wore my day pack), and I stopped at the liquor store for some Vodka and Coke (I did not mix them). This morning, all I've done is work on those JBL L-100s that were brought to me yesterday or the day before. I actually have that horrible bottom from a post or two ago done, and I'm now working on the screen frames, which are broken in many places. Thank goodness for Elmer's wood glue and the one clamp I didn't leave at the preschool. How is your Friday going? I will attach a picture of that "bottom from hell" after a hot water treatment.

One thing I've noticed about you, nothing in this world keeps you idle! If your car is in the repair shop, that doesn't stop you from peddling around on your bike:( Rum & Coke is pretty tasty, but Vodka & Coke? Hmmm, I'm glad you don't mix them!

@kobesbuddy I like their wood glue better than I like Titebond II. That stuff simply does not work for me.

It's work in progress. But I know the owner will be happy. I had a music gig tonight, but I may do a bit of work on one of the frames before I sleep. I have to build up certain broken surfaces slowly.

I have one done now, and am working on the other. Right now, I'm just waiting for some glue to dry on the second frame, so I can move on to the next step.
